Don't like what you see on this chart?Well today I'm 11dpo and my expected af is at 15 dpo. Before we started ttc, I never spotted before and af came exactly on schedule. This is our 2nd month ttc, and last month i started spotting 4 days early.
Today I am spotting light watery brown, and since last month this happened also, I am assuming my cycle has changed and this is really the beginning of AF? I really had my hopes up but I guess I'm out this month.
If this truly is AF, that would make my LP only 11 days? I know it is stupid, but I was so sad when I saw the spotting. I am 35 and have had to wait a few years to begin TTC, so even though we have only been ttc a short time, I have been waiting for years in my heart. And because of my age I am just concerned that I waited too long... 3/8/2010-4/4/2010 (estimated 28 day cycle)

Hi tsg- Don't give up hope just yet- spotting can indicate implantation. I wanted to share with you that I conceived naturally at 36 (DH was 39). It's not too late. We tried on our own for 6 months and got nothing - I began charting and got a BFP the first cycle - I miscarried early- and then got a BFP within two cycles. I am 30 weeks right now and doing great. I have several firends who conceived naturally into their late 30's and early 40's. I wish you much luck and I am happy to answer any questions. Think poisitve!

Thanks so much Sunny, your words really help. :) I know about implantation, which is why last month I had so much hope when i spotted for 4 days, all the time knowing inside that it was a little late for that, and when AF really came, it was disappointing. Just trying not to get my hopes up and prepare for what is very likely a BFN.

I'm 37 in May so I know what you mean about worrying about it being too late. It may be a little more difficult for us but it is definitely not too late!!! I was pregnant last September (but miscarriage) without even trying. I've been trying for the past 6 months and nothing yet. I'm going to the doctor's Monday to start the process of figuring out if anything is wrong. I have a feeling there isn't and it's just a matter of timing.
Your first day of AF is NOT until you see red flow. The watery brown discharge could mean implantation or it could be a hint that AF is to come but do not count that as your first day. I just thought you should know that so you won't change your LP length.
Good luck and I'll keep you posted on what happens with me. Maybe you will find out some useful information for yourself from it?

It's not too late, but if you've ttc for 6 months and nothing, see your doctor. Def. chart and use opk to have stuff to show your doc.

Hi everyone, Thanks for the positivity :) Still spotting here and there. It seemed to stop for the afternoon and then come back this evening. I really think it is the start of AF but we'll see. If it isn't and this is actually implantation spotting, would that mean I would need to wait another 6 or so days before an HPT would pick up a positive sign?
