Don't like what you see on this chart?Today I am 15 DPO according to my chart, but it is my first month charting so things might be a bit wonky. My husband and I are planning to start TTC later this summer, but we had two escapades of unprotected sex at the beginning of this cycle. In looking at my chart are there any thoughts? Could I have ovulated early? When do YOU see my ovulation day as being? I woke up late on CD 8 so I didn't think that that was the spike indicating ovulation is coming, but maybe I am wrong and that WAS it?!? If AF doesn't come today then I think I am off to buy a HPT and will test tomorrow morning. Or should I wait a few more days? Any thoughts? 5/14/2009-6/9/2009 (estimated 27 day cycle)

I didn't write this before, but it may give you a bit of a background: In Oct. 2008 (while I was on the bcp) I became pregnant (about a year earlier than we had planned TTC). I was not charting at the time so I had no real clue that I was pregnant. I had been feeling sickly for about 4 weeks and had been diagnosed with a UTI during that time. Although the UTI got better, I wasn't feeling like myself and started to spot earlier on in the cycle. I went to the doctor about 3 days before AF was supposed to arrive and the doc ran a urine test for the UTI and threw in a pregnancy test as well. No UTI BUT I was pregnant. Went in for blood work the next morning to check my HCG levels. They were low, but in the 'pregnant' level. 48 hours later I was to go for my second HCG blood test, but within that 48 hours, the spotting turned into heavier bleeding with clots and after I went for my second HCG blood test I was sent for an emergency ultrasound and sonogram, all showing now signs of in uterine pregnancy nor an ectopic pregnancy (which was my docs concern). So I was sent home and had the natural miscarriage. Some of the most difficult days of my life. When I look back at that cycle, I remember that I spotted slightly about a week after AF had gone and I had thought it strange, but didn't really make much of it until THIS cycle (see chart) when a few days ago I started to wonder whether maybe I ovulate right after AF leaves (this is my first month charting so I have nothing to compare yet). IF that is so, and my husbands sperm are great swimmers, then maybe those two days where we had unprotected sex at the end of AF, the sperm hung around a few days until I was fertile!? I don't know, but I really would LOVE to hear what any of you have to say.

Yes, I tested in the afternoon and it came back negative. Should have waited for the FMU this morning instead. I think I will wait it out and see what the FMU of Saturday will show on an hpt. My temp spiked up .5 degrees this morning compared to yesterday morning. SO WEIRD. So confused.

I have read about women who didn't get their + until 18 DPO. I also checked out a gallery of + tests and the one's with the thin line are often barely visible so leaves many guessing. The one's that say pregnant or not pregnant seem to be easier to read.

Thanks VaBelle. I got the Life Brand test that is a + sign if pregnant and a - if not pregnant. Your talking about the ones where the lines are side by side that had the faint line?

I may also have only ovulated on CD17 so then I guess AF would be arriving late? So strange because she 'always' arrives on CD27 or CD28 and everytime I think she is here I go and check and nothing. Just cramping and wet feeling. Sorry...TMI.

I changed my O day and reposted the chart...strange thing is that my temps were up by .5 degrees this morning.
