So fertilyGal based on this chart when do you think I ovulated...I am thinking the 13th or 14th day? My temps were a slow rise and the two on the 13th and 14th day were done earlier in the morning than the 11th and 12th day (maybe half hour before). Let me know what you think based on my info. Thanks

I would say you ovulated on cycle day 14 based on your bbts. Your positive opk on cycle day 12 indicates you would ovulate 24 to 36 hours later, consistent with a cycle day 14 ovulation.

Thank you FertilityGal...I really hope you are correct....it so hard because my cycles have been off so each month I had to change my cycles day...then this month I got the one OPK on cycle day day 12 with Clearblue and then a negative with the same the next morning but a positive with the First Response (Day 13)...then a negative on day 14...I had some pains (thinking Ovulataion Pains) all day on Day 12 and half of day 13 but usually the Ov Pains shouldn't last that long so may have just been gas pains...my cm was eggwhite on day 10 and 11, went on 12, creamy on 13 and wet on the 14....my temps had a slow rise on day 13 and 14 but then went up on day 15....then I had a temp dip on what I thought was 7 dpo but may be 5 dpo (could that be possible for implamentation on day 5)....also I test postiive for pregnancy on 9 dpo and then again on 11 dpo going on a 14 day ovulation...could this also be possible...if all figure point to ovulating on day 14, I will be so thrilled cause that puts me at better odds of having the sweet baby girl I have always dreamed about....don't know if this matter but when they did my blood work they did on the Wednesday Oct 3 and it was 694...again don't know if that helps narrow is down as at 4 weeks you shoudl be between 50 and 490 and mine was a bit higher...could that mean I was maybe 4 weeks and 1 or 2 days....maybe reading into this too much but I have been charting since February and charted for months before we started trying but my body has its own brain so just trying to make sense and hope its all in my favour.

I still say cycle day 14, as I would not dispute your BBT and OPK. I have not read anything about implantation causing a drop in temps, but I do know that many women experience a slight drop (which sometimes dips below the coverline) post ovulation as the hormones adjust. And yes, some pregnancy tests are sensitive enough that you can get a positive as early as DPO day 9. Because every woman and pregnancy is different, the normal level of hCG on any given day of pregnancy is a large range, so I don't think you'll be able to confirm the specific day you conceived using that indicator - but then, since your BBT and OPK indicate cycle day 14, I'd say you can rest assured it was cd 14.
As I've said before, some doctor's do not believe in the shettles method, since there have been no studies to confirm it and most women don't know when they actually conceived because they were not charting. It will be interesting to see if you get the girl of your dreams!

Thank you FertiltyGal....you probably know so much more about this than I do....I have become very knowledgeable over the last year about this which is why I thought for sure I ovulated day 12 but (because of the the posotive OPK with Clearblue one day but not the next)...however if you feel my BBT shows days 14 and my OPK is a 36 hour O, I will go with your knowledge....I don't know if the Shettles method works but I have heard through friends that it worked for their friends so I figured we are having another child regardless so if I can increase my chances of having a girl I will. Thanks again!
