so sorry...I will be your partner in AF at least! I couldn't take the bcps as allergic, so I am back to square one with you - I am having 2nd "period" this "cycle" from 4 day stunt on bcps. I have an u/s Mon and then 2 RE appts a wk apart for more tests, etc. Where you at with your RE?

thanks girls:-) my b-day was really nice--seeing family, havea few drinks (of course i was HOPING for a reason not to have drinks).
babydustglitter-i am starting from point A. i was going to an obgyn & she was prescribing the clomid (3round only) and now i see the RE in a few weeks. could you tell me a little of what to expect at the initial appt?? i am so curious if he'll do an ultrasound, any blood work, etc etc. sounds like you have a lot going on with your's. i wish you all the best!!!!!

Oh ceb, sorry AF arrived. Was hubby's birthday as well, so didn't get a chance to get on until now (sun). I haven't even temped yet...not sure if I am. Might call RE (which is my OBG) and see what he wants to do. Maybe this will be our month. Good luck.
By the way, I went to RE for 1st pg, and they did an internal exam and then I had to get blood work and then went for the test where they put dye to see if nothing blocked (not sure of name). After that, started on Clomid since I wasn't ovulating, with a HSG trigger shot to actually ovulate. Not sure what they'll do this time, since I am ovulating (based on temps), I think. Let me know what they tell you...good luck and BABY DUST! :)

CEB1 for my first RE appt, she basically asked a million questions on my history and family medical history. She ordered more tests including blood/hormones tests, SA for DH, and of course that wonderfully dreaded HSG. I ended having stage III endo (had lap surgery in FEB) and CLomid gave me cysts and fibroids. Had 2nd u/s yesterday for clomid cysts. Next RE appt is 28th. Since I had had 3 m/cs (one was twins), I am pretty much an "unexplained" case. I O and everything! If you have endo or any other estrogen induced illness, Clomid will only make it worse - and I attest to that! Hopefully we both get some answers soon!!! Yesterday I had to go get toradol shots in the butt for my migraines and the YAZ in only 4 days and horrobly infected my lymph nodes too. I am ready to go back to just my herbs and beta blocker (slow heart rate from POTS) and forget fertility drugs, etc. !!!! Good luck!!!

i really hope that your time comes soon! it sounds like you've really been through a lot. i've heard about the hsg & i know its coming. we talked to our insurance & their coverage on fertility is absolutely pathetic! looks like this whole thing is basically going to be out of pocket, just what we need....lucky us.

the hsg should be covered and a LAP in need that for pain reasons - women have them done even when not ttc. So make sure nurse codes it correctly! Yup, been through a lot with my endo! Seems most meds make feel worse! So trying to get back to nothing!!! Plus I am considered underweight. Been same size forever and all my weight gaining efforts have failed. Dr said as long as have reg AF and reg O, not a problem. SO that leaves just endo really...what is the deal?!?! Sigh...let me know how your appt goes. When is it?
