Would you say I O'd on CD 17 or CD 18? Some of the reading I have been doing says that the rise of .2-.4 degrees usually happens over a 48 hour period, so then I would say CD 17, but the temp only went over the coverline on CD 18. What are your thoughts? This is my second month charting, so looking at last month, the same thing happened, but the first day rise after the dip went over the coverline by .1 degrees and this month it was .1 degrees under. So my guess is I O'd on CD 17, but would love some other's thoughts. We will be TTC next cycle so I wanted to see what the patterns were for my cycle a bit ahead of time.

I would think CD 18, by looking at other ladies charts. But I could also be wrong. Do you use OPK's ? , they could possibly help almost pin point your time of ovulation also.

I got a positive OPK 2 days ago, & my temps are just slowly rising lol , still not quite over the coverline, just below llike yours was yesteday. Still don't know if I have ovulated.

But it seems like CD 18 would be your O. Because I have noticed & read that it should be over your coverline the day after to concider the day before your O day,
Maybe one fo the other ladies could help a little better. :)

I've read that the temp rise may be more gradual for some women.

I've read that in some women their BBT dips right before O, so it's most likely you did on the 18th.

I have a very similar question on my chart (which I am about to post). This morning I had a significant temp increase, but I had a dip two days ago. Wasn't sure if I O'd on CD 16 or 17.

I have read too that the temp rise can be gradual for some women.

Thanks ladies. That is helpful. This morning my temp dropped to 97.5 right below the cover line. So strange. Or is this normal for some women?
