This post relates to: BBT BD CD cervix CM TTC

Don't like what you see on this chart?

So this is the first month of TTC and BBT charting. I would have assumed that I have already O'ed but need clarification. Last night or CD 15 I slept horribly so I am not sure I can count this on my chart. Does that mean I O'ed on CD 12 or is CD 15 the day?! Please help I am new to all of this and some insight would be nice. Thanks Kim

OK Kim...welcome and I guess I'll be the first to comment. It doesn't look like you have O'ed yet...temps need to rise and stay there once you have O'ed. Since temp dropped CD16...no O yet, but might be soon. Also, some women don't O on the CD14 nor have 14 day luteals (after O)...me, I O from CD14-20 and have a 12 day luteal, so anything possible. Best thing is to keep BD'ing, even everyother day until you see that rise that stays for at least 3 days. You can also take note of your CM (mucous), which will become eggwhite or watery near O (although if not this, might be creamy)...and then, creamy after you O. Check in a couple days to see what happened, and keep up the BD. BABY DUST! :)

I second Xonora5's reply. I don't think you've o'ed yet. Keep BDing and Good luck!

Just took my temp this morning and didn't jump above my coverline came out at 97.73. Is it possible that my BBT thermometor isn't working right? I guess it wasn't CD 15

Hi there! I am new to bbt too:) I wish I could be of help but I need to get a book to figure out what is going on. Good luck to you!

Give it time. I usually don't o until CD 20 or so. You may also be a slow riser so it'll take a day or two to get above the cover line.

Don't worry, but try for a heart tonight or tomorrow, just in case you get that jump tomorrow. Stressing (such as learning to BBT...lol), can cause you to O later, so don't worry. As long as you got hearts in the area...you should be covered and then once you see the shift...you'll start to relax about when to O...and then worry about 2WW! How is your CM? Do you know? Might help with detecting O.
OK, with that said...good luck and come on O...waiting! BABY DUST!! :)

Thank you all of you this stuff gets to be too much. Just as I start to think I have it there is another curve ball tossed to me! I went out an picked up an OPK today so we will try that out maybe it will help pin point the O time. I try to get as many hearts on there as I can so good luck to all of you and and Baby Dust your way to a BF+!

Does anyone chart their cervix positioning? I want to try but I couldn't tell. I tested yesterday and it felt soft and low then this morning I tried again and I could barely reach it, this time it was harder. Anybody know what that means? how can you tell when its open? I know it's amazing what we can talk about to complete strangers but if it is too much to discuss it openly I understand.

BD & Good Luck to All!

OK so I had a spike. CD 16 was 97.7 and CD 17 was 98.21 given this what day do you think was my O. I took a OPK test today and showed a positive does that mean I am Oing today? Sorry to ask so many questions... BD to all!

superfox said on 3/18/2009 7:38:16 AM Report this post
I would say that it was yesterday but BD today just to catch it in case! Good luck!

Has anyone every recieved a +OPK after your temp spike? What does that mean? The only thing I can think of is the first high temp I got CD 17 I changed my BBT thermometor the first one seemed inacurate.
