Your Luteal Phase Length

Your doctor can determine the exact length of your luteal phase through hormone-specific blood tests, but you can approximate it by charting your Basel Body Temperature (BBT).

What if I don't know the length of my luteal phase yet?

If you are not sure of the length of your luteal phase yet, you can assume it is 14 days, which is typical for most women. However, mine is 16 days long and yours just might be 11. Chart your BBT to be sure and update your profile as soon as you are sure.
