Okay, so I am not temping or using opk's (yet) I have an irregular period (been off the ring for a few months) and checking CM doesn't seem to be working, however, I have noticed that the past few months around day 18 or so I get horrible pains in my right abdomen where I would assume that ovary is, but I am no Doctor. So what I am asking is if anyone "feels" themselves ovulate? Is it around the 14 day mark? Could I be ovulating late? If I feel it, does it mean I have ovulated, or am ovulating, or is that pain when your body is absorbing the unfertilized egg? Anyone out there know what I am talking about?

I absolutly can tell when I ovulate. I get a very sharps stabbing pain in my right abdominal area just above my hip bone. It doubles me over for about a day and I have wet CM that feels like I have pee'ed my pants. I ovulate on day 17ish and always have.

Thanks for your response. When you have the ovulation pain when do you try to BD? I find it very painful as well and BDing is the last thing on my mind when that happens.

Yes, it sounds strange but I can tell when my cervix is low because it is painful with intercourse and feels like DH is hitting it. The pain with each push goes into my abdomine is sharp. I just breath through it with the hopes of a good outcome. It is not an enjoyable time by any means thoough.

i can usually feel when i ovulate each month, and then it switches to the other side the next month. my pain is a dull ache, like someone is kicking me in my ovary area. this month i was on clomid, so the o pains were alot worse. good luck!

I feel O pain every month.
I do temp & sometimes it occurs before I O & sometimes after. You can feel it during different parts of O process & sometimes I can feel it for 4 days or so.
So you might feel it after you O or before

I wouldn't say that I feel pain, but I def feel bloated in the ovary area. I know that may sound weird, but its true. My OPK's confirm those feelings as well. It just feels like I've got gas in the ovary. Its like a throb that goes in and out for a couple of days prior to ovulation. I also have an irregualar pd and a 37 day cycle...which is the worse. So I don't ovulate until the anywhere b/w the 21-25 of each cycle. Hope this helps!

Thanks. If this isn't our month then I think I will start using opk's so I have a better idea of what I am feeling, and what is going on. I will start temping a pre seed as well. I always knew ttc wasn't going to be easy, lol.
