Hey girls, I haven't been on in a while, I had my sisters wedding to go to and company and it has been crazy! I have a question or two if someone has had this done before and what it was like. I took my clomid on days 3-7 and then today day 12 I went in for an ultrasound to see if there was an egg ready. I had 3 on that was small only 12 and then one that was 17 and then she found one that was a 20. After talking to my Dr. she decided to give me the shot which will make them release sometime after 24 hours. Does anyone know if this should help my chances? With the 2 bigger eggs does that give me a much high chance of twins? Just curious if anyone else had ever had this done! Thanks!

Hi there.

I just had my follicle study yesterday and received the trigger injection as well. I take Clomid day 5-9. I also had two viable eggs on my right ovary.
Clomid does increase your chances of having twins I think by 10-15%. I meant to ask yesterday about having 2 viable eggs if they will both rupture or not, but i am happy thinking that if one fails I have the other as backup!! :o)
Our cycles are pretty darn simular!!
This is my third round of clomid we are hoping that the 3rd times a charm!!
I would be more than happy to answer any other ?'s!

Our cycles are really similar! This is also my third round of clomid! This is my first time with the shot though, have you had the shot all three times? My said to me "now you have 2 good size eggs that was the risk of clomid..." then she said "in two weeks if you get a positive test then come in and we will see how many you are having!!! " I have to admit that kinda freaked me out a little bit but hey! We are hoping for the 3 time is a charm too! My eggs were on my left side this time!
Did your Dr. tell you to have sex for the next 3 days (meaning the night you got the shot as well as the next two days?) That is what my Dr. told me to do! Just curious! Good luck to you!

Hi girls. I am getting ready to start my first round of clomid tomorrow. On CD 13 I will go in for an ultrasound like you did. If my eggs look good, I will get the shot and we will do an IUI the next day. If you're taking the natural route, I would definitely BD the day after your shot!! And my Re said we have a 10% chance of twins with clomid. I would be ecstatic if we had twins though! Good luck to you!

YAY!! Go us!
My RE told us to BD the next days evening after and the next morning ( which was this morning, and there is nothing worse than morning nookie being forced!!)

Mroossinck- this is my third time with the trigger injection. I have also used the instead cup last night and this morning + preseed both times. And starting friday I am using progesterone suppositories (vaginal TMI i know) two times a day until hopefully a + HPT!! Thats due to a suspected luteal phase defect.

Jleanne- Did you choose to do an IUI yourself or did doc recommend it?
I am excited for all of us. I sure hope we can blow May out of the water with THREE BFP'S!!!!!

Tangorose9 do you remember if you had good size eggs before? Just curious! I agree with you, the morning is the worst!!
Have either or you been trying long? Would this be baby no. 1 or 2 or 3 for either of you? Good luck to all of us!
I am excited hopefully it works! Yeah!

We have been trying over 2 years for our first child. I have endometriosis but the docs say it's not severe enough to interfere with fertility much. They say everything looks good but something is preventing the sperm from meeting the egg so my RE suggests IUI or IVF to make that happen. We are going to try IUI first and I hope it works but I'm trying not to get overly excited about it! Good luck!

Hello Ladies!

I have had 1 egg stimulated both times that was good sized I think 19 both times. This is the only time I have had more than 1 stimulated.
We have also been trying over 2 years for number 1, however we have had no protection for 3 years.

Mroossinck- How long have you been trying? Are you trying for number one?

Hey girls, sorry I didn't write back right away we left for North Carolina (9 hour road trip) on Friday and I just got back to checking FG.
I feel kinda bad and feel like I shouldn't be complaining...we are trying for baby no. 2 (It took me a year to get pregnant with her with a miscarriage at 8 weeks or that is when I found out the baby had died after my miscarriage I went on clomid and got pregnant my second round of it) This is my third round of clomid and my first time with the u/s and shot. We have been trying for 8-9months for baby #2. (When we first started trying I had 2 EARLY EARLY m/c within the first 4 months that is when I decided to ask my Dr. about clomid again since I got pregnant on it with my daughter.)
I wish both of you all kinds of baby dust!!!!
