I have been on metformin for a few months now and my dr wants to try clomide. Does anyone haev any info on what i can expect on it, side effects.

I did clomid a few months ago for 3 months (100mg) no luck. After a break I did a 50mg cycle and just got my BFP! I had hot flashes, no cm and bitchiness lol. Much less severe on 50 mg. Good luck!

I did several cycles of clomid over a year span. Once I started seeing a fertility specialist and getting weekly ultrasounds I found that on my clomid cycles I produced up to 9 follicles (which have the eggs) and on my off clomid cycles I was only producing 1 or 2...and no I was not trying for multiples; with my husbands fertility issues the doctor was trying to boost our chances of success with IUI or AI. At first I was on just 50mg but then went to 100 mg with the fertility specialist. On the 50mg I could not tell a difference, but on the 100 mg I had a lot of symptoms. I could tell when I ovulated as I had pain on which ever ovary had the largest follicles. I had hot flashes and seemed to get sick at smells easily. I wish you all the best.

I have PCOS and i have been on metformin for 7 months and getting ready to start my 3rd clomid cycle of 50mg. The only side affect i had was moody and lots of cm. we tink we just had a miscarriage so i tink clomid works just depends on ur body.
