I don't really understand CM (cervical mucous).

I have always been told that when you are fertile, that you have the egg white CM, and that it is very obvious. I have never really gotten any obvious CM.

I know this is a bit TMI, but could someone PLEASE help me understand maybe what is going on with my body??

--A few days before ovulation, during BD my bf noticed some white substance on his baby maker from the BD. It wasn't stringy or anything, or at least when I checked my CP later, it didn't seem that way.

--For the days following ovulation, my CM has seemed to be dry.

--Today, 8dpo, when I check my CP, I noticed some white substance on my finger. It wasn't slingy, as it never is, but at least there is some color.

I understand this is TMI, but honestly, for any woman who is TTC, this is all just conversation really.

Thanks in advance for any answers!!!

Later lovely ladies!!! <3

I never really get noticable EWCM either, my last two cycles I have been taking Mucinex to help thin my CM so I have a better chance of getting more EWCM. I start taking it the last day of my period and continue a day or two past ovulation, it didn't seem to help too much last cycle, but then I found out I was taking the wrong kind... I have been taking it every day this cycle and had a noticable change.
