I just started my period early and I'm worried I wasn't suppose to start till Friday. I have never had a period that is early before so I'm freaking out. I'm trying to get pregnant but I guess this month was not the lucking one :(Anyways my main concern is how am I suppose to know when I'm ovulating this month. I have spent so much money on Ovulation kits that I'm sick of it. I've done the temperature chart but that only tells you when you already ovulated. Please some one help me I need advice I'm sooo worried I don't know what to do now.

i'm usually a 26 day cycle and one of mine was 22 or 23 days. i was worried at first, but then i just figured that cycles can vary from month to month. but i actually did have some hormone problems. i was in denial a little and i didn't want to have my blood tested...but a good thing that i did. my estrogen and progesterone were both low...i tried oral progesterone the last 10 days of my cycle for 2 cycles, and it did help my progeterone, but not the estrogen. this cycle i was on the HCG injections and both the estrogen and progesterone were normal! so i would give it a couple of months, unless you've been ttc for >6mths, and in that case i would talk to you doctor. good luck to you! oh by the way, i don't use those opk's any more. i thought they were a huge waste of money. baby dust!!****

I had 28 day text book cycles for YEARS and then they went to 27 and then 26 and now to 24. Our bodies change and can do whatever they want, I swear. Unless you are having bleeding, pain, a LP shorter than 10-12 days and a cycle that is shorter than 22-24 days consistently, you should be ok. I would suggest OPKs and cervical and cervical mucus checking daily to know when you O. There are many articles on the internet that can explain this very well. And it's not difficult, so don't stress over it! There are ways to lengthen your cycle, but I would check with your dr before trying any of them.

also - you can get cheap opk's online at early-pregnancy-tests.com, but I just like temping better. We try to bd every other day until O, then the next day. You can sometimes see a "dip' on the day you'll O, and may feel that O-pain on either side. Check out some of the charts here on the Message Board BBT Chart Chat. You can see ALOT of diff types and there are alot of tips you can get from them! Take care and hang in there! =) g

i had kinda the same problem. my AF was short last month and now I don't know if i O'd early or if i haven't o'd yet. it seems the OPK's haven't been working for me. i am so up set now that i have started yoga to help with relaxing me and i am thinking of accupuncture to also help me relax.

I have acupuncture...start on like 17th or something. TCM uses it all the time to help with all sorts of issues! Great recommendation!

Yea thanks girls for the advice I just got back from having an HSG done is sucked and I don't want to go through that again. I started cramping once the Radiologist injected the Dye horrible feeling but what can I say what ever I can try to get me and my hubby pregnant.I called my nurse and told her about my early period and she said it still is a regular cycle and not to worry about it. I got pregnant back in April and 5 days after I found out I was preggo I miscarried. After that I have not been ovulating from the OPk's results. Now I'm having a hard time getting pregnant which is the worse feeling ever my hubby is ready for a baby. I'm tired of spending my money on Opk's and vitamins Dr. don't want to put me on clomid until they have tested everything they can think of. I want advice I finally found a good Dr. I have been through 3 OBGYN's and they all have been worthless.
