Hi all so I'm new to this TTC thing I mean I have 2 Beautiful boys who are 15 months apart so they weren't exactly planned but LOVED all the more so this would be our first TTC. We have been TTC since May and our BDing has been plentiful (I know TMI) but the reason why I am so frustrated is that every cycle around my O time its like pulling teeth to get him to BD and it has never been like this before we BOTH agreed to start TTC another and its only around the O time is when he acts like this every other time he is fine I just don't know what to do......And I have tried to make it so my DH doesn't think thats all I want from him and I still get the same reaction,,,,,I know I'm complaining and all so Thanks for listening! Just a little FRUSTRATED!

Hi J, if ur trying for a girl u have to stop BD about 3 days before O day so avoiding ur O days will hopefully work in ur favour... the best of luck :)

JWicks3-sometimes I have the same trouble with DH, but I don't think it is him not wanting to BD, but that he is tired and he is thinking of that more than our long term goal. This cycle he was much more into it, although one BD session he wasn't too happy that I insisted that we do it b/c I knew I was ovulating. Oh well, he wants another baby too...it takes 2 to tango right??!! Good luck to you and baby dust...

I think for my dh it is a pressure thing. To have a little window where we 'have to bd now' puts this fear into him that he won't be able to 'perform'--which is ridiculous because that is NEVER an issue ;) I think it plays with their minds a little bit. Since we were going to use the shettles method to try for a boy, that pressure thing was a huge deal to him, so we threw out the shettles method and are just going to go for it without me saying anything about the fertile period. Will see how that goes. ;) Takes the pressure off of him, but makes me have to be a little creative when it comes to bding on certain days. Oh well, I have a few ideas to help us along--a visit to La Senza might be in order. Nothing like a new piece of lingerie to help set the mood. Baby dust...

That's the same thing i was going to suggest tiairis. JWicks3 try not telling him when your fertile period is just have sex without letting it slip that you are fertile that way he won't feel so much pressure and you can still BD.

I think my DH is just glad he's getting it at some point. I know he's as tired as I am when it comes to O time...last month when I said 'r u ready' he looked at me like he was going to die, but then I said JK ;)
I'm old & tired so its bad but I dont really have the gusto when its not for a purpose right now. Part of me feels bad but the other part says he's getting it more than he was before even if its in a 1.5 wk span ;)
