my temp went so low this morning & i am on cd 9. took letrozole days 3-7. is this just like clomid? will i O in a about 5-6 days from last pill, or could i O really early...like now!? just want to make sure my bding is covered;-) any help would be appreciated! thanks!

IDK... try Googling it and see if you can find any med specific TTC boards. That is my only suggestion! Or call your doc...

ya, i tried looking it up but didnt really find anything. i just thought maybe someone on here has been on the med & knew from experience. take care:-)

hey girl!!!! I to am on Femara and have taken it for 4 months... i will tell you that you will o earlier than normal so i start OKTing on cd 10.. you will also need progesterone checked 7-8 days after you get a positive surge... also my only main symptom with Femara is a headache but much better than Clomid in my opininon.. let me know if you have any questions.. hope this helps

Oh THANK YOU! not kidding, i found nothing on the internet exc. stupid statistics that i already knew about b/f. i am starting to cramp and i am cd10 & i am supposed to begin prometrium 3 days after O. i was really wondering if this will be different than clomid? i O'd cd16 on that med. did you notice a difference betw. the 2 drugs & O day???? i had some minor headaches, but i am with you on the clomid! i will take a couple headaches over a body meltdown, lol!

by the way...how many mg of femara are you on? i started on 5. i did 3 rounds clomid @50mg prior with a 2month break in betw. clomid & letroz.

I did the Clomid for 2 months on 50mg and 1 month on 100mg and had hyperstimulation on my Right ovary so they will not give me the Clomid anymore... With Femara i would o on cd21 then day 18, 16, 14 on the fourth month.. i did not take it this cylcle due to my surgery but i will start back on 2.5 mg for Dec. So yes i noticed that i would o ;earlier and earlier...

thanks for all the info! i guess i'll just have to sit back at this point & see when it comes--but i def. think O is approaching this week:-) hope your surgery went well! was it very intrusive-are you on bding rest? or just meds. rest?

Well thanks for the get well, Actually i am not doing anything this month no meds except for prenatals and omega 3, and i am on pelvic rest for 2-3 weeks i see my dr back on Dec.1.. i am feeling much better not to invasive he removed 10 spots of endo and i had like a gel sack that the endo was growing in.. kinda gross i just had the same surgery like year and a half.. said that my tubes and uterus all looked good... right now just resting this month.. i have still been using the OPK but i am on CD 19 and still no O. so i am missing my Femara.. ha

i had some endo removed in oct. along with other stuff-ok...i thought getting rid of endo was supposed to HELP your af not be so freakin painful???? mine, 1st af after surgery, was so bad that i was in tears! the nurse said my body is trying to get well (i had a 7 day reg. flow....never happened before). i hope that if for some reason i dont get a bfp this month, my af is much nicer to me. i am right there with you on late Oday--my day was 19 last time, with no meds-its usually in the cd20's somewhere. hopefully you can jump back on the wagon next month:-) keep me posted! (still waiting for O here too) babydust~!~!~!~!
