Well ladies it has been a bit since I have posted anything so I though it was about time. The doctor wanted to put me back on birth control because my cycles started getting crazy about a month ago after no luck TTC for two years. Then we/she decided to just let nature takes it's course and said some bleeding between periods can be normal. Well I started AF on Aug. 23 and she had not stopped yet. She was full blown here at first and then almost completly gone and now I am just bleeding a little bit thoughout the day, enough to go through a panty liner or two but not enough to fill up a pad or tampon, sorry if TMI. Anyways what do you ladies think could be going on, I mean I don't know how much longer I can handle this. I have been patiently awaiting my little bundle for two years and it's still not happening.
Thanks Ladies, looking forward to hearing opinions! Heather

Sorry for your troubles, can't offer any real opinions, but I hope things settle down in your cycle.

Hey Heather,
I think it's called Metrorrhagia when you bleed between cycles. Hormonal imbalanced can have a lot to do with it - amongst other causes. Are you seeing an RE? If so they may be able to help you out. I would also go for a series of acupuncture sessions.
It could also be stress. Apparently when you are going through stressful periods it can completely knock you out of whack. Here's to hoping that your cycle gets back to normal quickly:)
Sorry to hear it's been tough of late.

Thanks Ladies.
I am seeing my regular ob/gyn, she also deals with fertility problems. She ran tests on me and on DH and didn't find anything wrong expect for my PCOS. She put me on metformin, it is supposed to help balance hormones and help with the PCOS but she said it can take twice or even three times as long to get pregnant if you have PCOS. I was told about the PCOS when we first started TTC and DH and I decided that if after 3 years we had no luck naturally we would look into fertility treatments. I havn't really been under any stress lately so I'm not sure that that would be affecting my cycles.
Thanks for the advice Kar, I appreciate it!

This vitamin recommended from babydustglitter helped me regulate my cycles BIG TIME - it has a rgeat combo of vit/min and herbs - just the right balance. Buuuut...since I stopped taking it cuz I ran out and couldn't afford it right now, guess what happened...I started spotting well into cd 6, 7, 8 and even 9 when my af was only 6 days. So, my mom said she'd buy them for me, just ordered more tonight, and BComplex too. They have a great sale going on now too. Like buy 1 get 1, buy 2 get 3 free! Maybe they can help you too! Hang in there - we've been trying 4+ years....=)

Thanks Ladies. I have faith that when God knows it's time He will bless us with a child I just wish that it would be that time now. Glo- I'm going to look into the vitamins more tomorrow and talk to my Dr. about them to make sure it is okay to take them with the meds I am already on. Hope all is well with you gals.

You have a great outlook - I too am trying to follow that way of thinking. We have been trying for so long and there are times when I think - why me but on the whole of late I figure there is a plan afoot and who am I to be questioning. There are so many wonderful things in life and we all have to count our blessings despite the disappointments.
I wish you all the luck in the world and hope that your BFP is coming this holiday season. TOns of babydust:)

Thanks Kar. I try and be positive and remember that God will bless us with a baby when He knows that the time is right and having that outlook helps me through the harder times. Also for the people who may not have the same beliefs that I have it can help to just remember that your baby will know when it is ready to carry a healthy pregnancy and when that time comes you will be blessed with a beautiful baby. Things tend to work out in mysterious ways when we have faith (in whatever your beleifs are)
Thanks for the support everyone! Heather
