wow im getting close this will be my first son i have 2 daughters now they are just now getting that mommy will bring home a baby brother soon lol im having my baby shower Oct. 25th anyone have any game idea's ? also any info on bringing home a newborn with having a 3 & 2 year old ??

also does anyone know of any kind of BC that dont put tons of weight on you ??

When we had a baby shower for my sister we did alot of different games.
1. Toliet Paper game- Guess how many squares does it take to go around your belly. With that guess also who can make the prettist bow and you choose the winner.

2. Potato game- Get a cup and a potato and the object of the game is to put the potato between the guest legs and see who can drop it into the cup that is on the floor.

3. Baby BINGO

4. Feed the baby- The object of this game is to put paperclips in a bowl of NOT COOKED rice and have the guest move spoonfuls from 1 bowl to the other with their eyes closed.

With regards to bringing the baby home make sure you do NOT leave the baby unattended on the floor. My sister left the baby laying on the floor with the new floor toys and when she came back about 1 mins later the baby was gone. It happened to be that my nephew saw the baby on the floor and picked her up and moved her to the coach. Boy was he in trouble. Also her husband was so mad. Kind of funny though cuase he did not want his baby sister on the floor.

Hi Mommy, BC can be tricky and it's just a matter of testing it out. Every woman's body reacts different to different pills and such. However, at anytime you feel uncomfortable with your BC your Dr. will help you find a better solution. There are tons of different kinds out there, so don't settle with one you are unhappy with!

Games: The one I remember the most from the few I have been to was getting clothes pins and having each person wear one each at the beginning of the party. Then come up with A baby word ex: Baby, Boy, Delivery, Hospital etc. and anytime someone catches someone say the magic baby word they get to take the pin of who said the word. At the end give a prize to who has the most collected clothes pins. It seems simple but when you get women around chatting it's harder NOT to say the baby word!

I used the NuvaRing and I lost some weight but didn't gain it. Never had as ingle side effect either it was very good.

Are you having a shower because it's a different gender? I've decided to throw one for myself but no one is coming because I already had one with my son that none of my family and friends were invited to. I was todl you don't get one with second babies but I thought what if it's a girl? Doesn't that count? Anyways, I'm a little down about it because my mom is having a blast planning one for my brothers 17 yr old gf. I guess I feel left out because i never had a shower with my family. Seems odd I'd be this upset. Stupid hormones lol Have a great shower!
