I went to the doc yesterday and all went well!!! dilated 1cm.... can't believe it's almost time for our lil girl to arrive. I'll be 37 weeks monday getting antsy ready for her to show up! :)

I have my 37 week dr appointment today..hoping to see if all these "practice" contractions are maybe doing something, would love to be dilated already..With my first daughter nothing was happening until a week late when i got induced, the dr didnt think i was going to be able to have a vaginal birth since i was showing zero signs of anything happening, they induced and 4 hours later my girl was born..lol..im really hoping to go into labour on my own this time...I also cant believe i only have 3 weeks left until our baby girl arrives, it went by so fast! Is this your first? good luck with everything

I'm at 36 weeks and a day and had asked the midwife when and if they start to check. They don't until you're actually in labour but I do realise that anything can happen in the next 4 weeks or so and I'm ok with them not checking. I figure I'll make sure I'm as ready as I can be and my little guy will show up when he's ready. In the mean time I'll keep busy with work and the usual household chores that need doing!
