I started charting my CM this month hoping it will help me conceive. I'd just rather do that then BBT Charting. But I was wondering if charting CM helped any women on here get preggo???

I never charted anything... (I lack the patience!) But I did monitor it and it seems to have worked for me. The way I see it... if you BD every other day (or more) during the time that you have CM, it should help your chances. Good luck!

Here's how I do mine (got directions originally from BBT Charting Book):

1. AF (duh. lol)
2. next you should have 2-3 days of sticky CM
3. then 2-4 days of milky/creamy CM
4. then 1-5 days of EWCM
5. then after O with EWCM you should have dry/sticky until AF comes or some go to Cloudy. I have cloudy after O and then the dry/sticky.

CM is usually a better indicator than BBT as your CM doesn't lie where in a lot can affect BBT. Plus BBT doesn't show spike til after O where in you get EWCM you know it is time to BD :)

Good luck and Baby Dust!

That was a good breakdown. Unless you are like me I go:
1. AF
2. dry
3. AF again lol
