FertilityGal,

How are you? You haven't posted for about a month. Is everything okay? You need someone to ask about you for once... Please let us know how you are doing. Good or bad, we are here to support you, too! Should we be worried or are you just taking a break?

I hope you are well.

I'm doing ok, thanks for asking!

Holidays just had me running to Chicago and Pittsburgh with only enough time in between to be really busy at my day job, which is when I typically make time to post a lot.

I'm DPO day 7, and like one other cycle since I had my endometriosis removed in October 2006, I have extremely tender breasts so I'm hopeful. Last time it happened, though, my period started right on schedule. 40-60% of women with endo who undergo the surgery conceive within 18 months of surgery, and we're coming up to that 18 month marker quicker than I'd like.

I read an article in Newsweek tiitled "Fertility & Diet - How what you eat affects your odds of getting pregnant" which says women should not drink skim or low fat milk while trying to conceive because it contains hormones that can throw your cycles off wack and it contains animal protein not good for your cycles either. Despite the fact that I am not believed to have ovulatory issues, we took the article's advice and started drinking whole milk early this cycle, then switched to silk soy milk (it highly recommends soy protein). It may be helping my endo too as i've not been nearly as crampy this cycle.

Hope all is well with all you ladies!

Love,
FertilityGal

I drank a lot of pineapple juice in october and November. We really weren't trying in the beginning of november and I started charting on cd 20 which was on Nov 19 and I was pregnant then I guess... I read that it can help with implantation like Baby asprin... But I also read it can cause uterine contractions... I'll find the website and copy and paste the article...
Baby dust...

And this is from another site on pineapple juice:

There is an old wives' tale floating around that pineapple juice will help a fertilized egg implant. However, pineapple juice is not recommended for use in TTC and/or pregnancy. In large doses, it can cause uterine contractions and bring on spontaneous abortions (miscarriage).
Recommended Dosage: Drink only in small quantities, if at all.
Food Sources: Pineapples.
Side Effects: Large doses may cause uterine contractions, miscarriage, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, very heavy menstrual periods. Unripe pineapple is poisonous, causing excessive diarrhea.

Hi, we just got our BFP today and I wanted to share the story with you.

On our 4th cycle TTC we did a few things different because I was getting
really impatient and needed to do SOMETHING, even though it might not work.

What we did:
BD every other day from CD 10 on
Used opks and BD 3 days in a row after positive opk
Drank 1-2 glasses of pineapple juice from O day until I tested positive
Prayed!

I hope that helps some of you. I heard good things about the pineapple juice
and decided to try it this month. Only don't use it after your BFP because
one of the chemicals in it can cause AF tocome. (on the flip side the same
chemical is supposed to help with implantation...)
Another note- on my estimated O day, we BD of course, and my husband was
having a hard time "finishing" due to all the BD we had being doing. (sorry
TMI) He even got blisters (TMI again!) but was determined to BD and finished
after 45mins. We got our BFP 11 days later!
