This post relates to: baby cramping nausea PG pregnant u/s

Hey guys, just wondered what you all thought. I am 5 weeks tomorrow and other than the occational wave of queasiness and slightly sore boobs I feel totally fine. If I didn't know or hadn't had a positive test I would think I wasn't pregnant. Either my symptoms have backed off or I am just getting used to them. Do you think they lack of symptoms is a bad sign. You know, sometimes you just can't help but worry!

I hear Ya! I spent most of the day searching the internet about this. I am 7 weeks and other than being bloated, tired, the occassional wave of cramping,,,and the occassional feeling "yucky" , I am pretty much symtpoms free. From what I could gather, allot of women dont get MS and we are just the lucky ones (and it doesn't mean it isn;t still to come, it will just set in later). Allot of it is genetic too...I spoke with my mom and she said she never threw up during PG but felt nausious (spelling?) allot.,,,So I've decided not to worry about this and take it as a blessing!

mroossinck said on 5/28/2009 4:40:02 PM Report this post
Yeah you are probably right! I mean I am glad I don't feel yucky but for some reason that makes me worry that my pregnancy isn't as "strong" as other peoples are. You are right, thanks! I am glad you are basically in the same boat! I do feel rather bloated and really full at night after supper! My mom wasn't sick at all either so YEAH!!!
This is my second, but I think I have less symptoms this time then I did then. I always had saltines by my side with her but never threw up! That may have set in at 6 weeks or so, I don't remember! Have you had an ultrasound yet?
Good luck to you!

choosehappiness said on 5/28/2009 4:48:21 PM Report this post
I read that every pregnancy is different as well....So no worries....My first ultrasound is July.3, So i think I will be almost 12 weeks at that point....I guess that is normal though...One thing I do find right now is that I can't really eat many things,,,,I only really have a taste for bread...even my initital craving for banana's has gone away....So i guess it's kind of how you feel at the end of recovering from a flu. You feel fine, but not ready to eat certain foods yet. Have you had an ultrasound?

I never had any pregnancy symptoms with this pregnancy or my first. The only symptom was a missed period. Could be that you both are going to be lucky. Good luck!

You guys are great! Everyone I know just seems to have all these symptoms...I am so crazy I even took a test today just to see if I was still pregnant...I know, that was dumb but hey!
No I haven't had an u/s yet, mine is scheduled for June 12th, I will only be 7 weeks, but my Dr. always does early ones like that! She does them between 6 and 7 weeks!
You guys have definitely made me feel better!
Choose, I wish I was like you in that you can't eat many things because I am the opposite, I want to eat EVERYTHING! I was like you with my first pregnancy though! There were somethings that I just can't stand!
Right now, I crave Mexican as well as the Asian Seseme Chicken Salad from Panera Bread. I want it all the time, so I bought the dressing :) !

You are ok....I haven't had any symptoms until a week ago and I'll be 12 weeks Sat.!!! Don't worry if you haven't had any symptoms, just count yourself lucky....lol...This is my 3rd child and I didn't have any with my other children either......I wish you the best!!!

I am 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I had really bad all day sickness from week 5 to 7 weeks. I still have occasional nausea but not nearly as bad as it was. I hope it doesn't come back. If you start to feel sick there is this stuff called
Morning Sickness Magic, it is a supplement that has b6, folic acid, ginger and red tea extract. This stuff has been a lifesaver. I have had very painful boobs for about 3 days now. I am definitely feeling pregnant :). The dr told me that most pregnancy symptons really start to show at about 8 weeks.

I am 17 weeks and I never had morning sickness, my bb's never hurt, the only symptom I had was being tired.

I had slight nausea in my first pregancy but I thought it was nerves due to my wedding coming up, which is still may have been because I didn't even know I was pregnant til 10 weeks so I obviously had no other symptoms lol And to t his day my Dr still thinks I was supposed to h ave twins but lost one. I bled very heavily while pregnant, i thought it was a nasty period. There was no way to know so it didn't really botyher me, I still had my son out of it but a lack of symptoms doesn't make you any less pregnant. Makes you lucky! In my second pregnancy I had damn never every symptoms under the sun, and didn't show til almost 6 months. That bothered me more. That was what made me feel pregnant

Consider yourself lucky!! I never got morning sickness w/either pregnancy - I kept thinking, with my newest one, that maybe I wasn't even pregnant - - both my boys were over 8 pounds - the fun comes later - lol, but enjoy feeling good!!!

Thanks you guys! That makes me feel lots better! It just seems weird to know that I am pregnant but now really feel pregnant! I am SO glad I am not throwing up though!! It is just so weird how different pregnancy can be from person to person and even pregnancy to pregnancy!

Hey guys, I think I spoke too soon! I am definitely feeling it now! I haven't thrown up but I am nauseous all the time now! YUCK! I just ordered some gin gin's ginger candies to help out with it! Since we did see the little beans heart beat Friday looks like everything is progressing as well as my feeling sick!! I do remember this with my daughter, but if I remember right once I hit my 2nd trimester I was all better!
Thanks again.
mroossinck
I needed to change my user name so this is me! :) thanks again!

mroosinick- Any symptoms yet? I'm still pretty much symptom free at 9 1/2 weeks, just tired and today I have a bit of a bubbly/crampy stomach. Has any thing changes for anyone else?

Michelle21 said on 6/15/2009 4:26:46 PM Report this post
Choose, sorry, Michelle 21 is my new screen name it used to be mroossinck! I needed to change it. So YES I have had changes! I ordered a 5lb thing of ginger candies for the nausea, I have never thrown up just nausea! But it gets kinda annoying, to feel sick all the time! I should have remembered that it got worse around 6 weeks! :) I also am SO tired all the time! I take naps almost everyday when my 2 year old does! Nothing I can't live with! Choose have you had your u/s yet? I went Friday and saw that babys heart beat! Only 1 yeah!
It was SO nice to see! My due date is Jan 30th! The baby was measuring 1 day smaller but they said that could just be the machine and everything was just fine! Oh yeah I still have super sore boobs too! Sorry again about the mixup!

Hi Michelle. Glad to here everything is going well. My first doctors appointment, she estimated my due date to be January 13th. My first U/S is on July.3rd. I am so anxious to see the heartbeat and know everything is fine.....this pregnancy has been relatively easy,,,but I have to say, I haven't been feeling great today.

Anyone else have symptoms kick -in way later in their PG?

ashstrom said on 6/15/2009 10:09:29 PM Report this post
hey girls! I'm so glad your pregnancies are going well! I have never been prego BUT I thought I might share what my friend uses to help with nausea. She is now 10 weeks but started to get very nauseous around week 7. She did not want to take any medicine so she got these wristbands from walmart. They are for nausea and she said they actually work! She said they actually look like sweatbands. Not sure what they're called but I'm sure you could google them too! Good luck on your u/s choose!

Michelle21 said on 6/16/2009 9:43:10 AM Report this post
Ashstrom, thanks, I might try them! I will see how my ginger works too as the bracelets might cause lots of questions since we really haven't told many people yet but thanks so much! I have seen and heard of these before I will check it out!

Choose - good luck on your u/s! You will def. have to tell us about it when you go!!
