Good morning ladies! Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend.

I just started reading up a bit on Primrose Oil. Does anyone take that? I took it a few months ago for Fibromyalgia/Myofacial Pain disorder symptoms, but heard it was helpful for TTC.

Is it really helpful when TTC? And if so, does it really take a few months to take effect?

I have heard of it working with TTC but haven't tried it myself.

Does it work on Fibromyalgia???? Please let me know if it does! My mom has this disease very bad!

Thanks,
Tricia

hey ladies. Here is a link about the possible causes for fibro.

very interesting! Also if you have a lot of silver dental fillings, this could also be contributing.

Hey ladies,
I have been through years of treatment and dozens of doctors for these horrible disorders. The best course of action I have taken was to see a Naturopath who is also a Pain Board certified MD. He made changes that no other medical doctor were able to touch.
tlhodges, definitely have your mom try that route. It saved my life.
AFA PRO, it helps for women when AF comes around. Because our muscles react differently to the normal period cramps, this aides in the pain/discomfort part. Doesn't eliminate, just helps.

Unfortunately, doctors will slap a pain med prescription on Fibro symptoms and nothing works. I was one of those.
My Naturopath told me to try Pain X (http://www.qfac.com/supps/pain_x_biogenesis.html).
It is relatively cheap, and completely natural.

It works for me!! Honestly, it helps me live some sort of a normal life.

I will def let her know that. Thanks! She is getting to the point where she just doenst care anymore. Her knees are swollen sometimes and she cant walk. Her Dr says "it is fibro...it isnt fibro...no, wait, I think it is fibro"

sheesh! Thanks Babymama <3

lol.
i think the best way to go is definitely a naturopath. I was on dozens of different drugs for 5 years before someone pointed me in the right direction. I would never tell someone suffering with these symptoms to go to a normal doc again. I gets tough, I can definitely relate with your mama.
Tell her to stay strong...there's definitely hope for feeling better. :)
Good luck Nikki!

I have heard it can help TTCing but can be harmful if you ARE pregnant. Being me, I'd stay away form it with a history of not knowing I'm pregnant almost into the second trimester. I wouldn't risk a m/c I had bought red raspberry leaf pills but wanted to talk to my OB first about them then I ended up being pregnant when I went to see him lol But I held onto them because I heard that they can help bring labor on if they have bene okayed by your Dr so I'm going to keep them and see if maybe I can use them when the time comes.

i have heard the evening primrose oil is supposed to help increase your cm. i tried it, and i didn't think it really helped me. i've also tried mucinex and fertileCM (i saw an ad on fertility gal). the fertileCM has given me THE MOST cm that i've had since we've been ttc'ing #2. or it could be the HCG injections that have been normalizing my hormones, either way with the fertileCM i've had the most cm and fertile kind too. i would personally use the fertileCM over the other 2. you're not supposed to take it when you're pregnant though. so i usually stop it right after i o and before i start my HCG injections. good luck to you!
