Just wondering, if you use the test that says you can use the day of your missed period and after means that if you actually are pregnant you probably wont get a positive till the day you miss your period? they probably arent strong enough huh?

It all depends on how much of the hormone you have in your system. I mean if you have it. Try it. But don't get disappointed if it comes out a BFN. Clear blue easy was the one that worked the best for me.

I have to agree with Shea but I took a dollar tree test with my daughter 3 days before AF should have been and it came up BFP. And those sure aren't early response! lol But yeah it depends on your hormone level. I bought an "Answers" hpt with this one and it came up 4 days before AF should have been here. I wasn't due to start until the 18th.

Here is a list of early hpt and the level of hormone they can read. Hope this helps everyone. As you can see even though you may not think so, the dollar store tests are actually one of the most sensitive. I tested with New Choice from the Dollar Tree at 10 dpo and got a faint pos. and got a few more, and it only kept getting darker. I never spent the total for 1 of the spendy brands even after buying about 5 of these. Good luck all! ~M~

I think it can depend on the pregnancy too, with my son no HPT or blood test came back positive til I was 10 weeks pregnant this baby it was at 4 weeks, right after I missed my period. Both were tested with First Response Early Response two pack

ok ladies today is day 8 still no period so tomorrow i will take a test and see i will let everyone know how it goes

WOW 8 days. I think mine was 8 days before AF was due. NOT AFTER. granted i got a BFN at 8 days before. But then 3 days before i got my BFP. I really admire your strength too. There is no way i could do that. More power to you sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i tested once last saturday with a early responce test said -- i was to have period the 17th the day my horse got killed and i took a test the day after but with my kids it took about a week or so to detect i remember with my daughter i was a week late took a test and then like 1 week later went to doctors i was 6 weeks at first visit i am so sad my sis in law had her baby a few days ago but we talk all day long on here and just now is when she im and we talkin but before i was upset crying cause of it i just hope i dont cry unhappy tears tomorrow i hope they happy ones

ok ladies it's a --- wish makes me upset i dont know what is goin on i dont show anthing that i am goin to have my period no cramping like i usually do just ticks me off it's just goin to be harder on ttc my hubby has a new job and he's always tired or his bk hurts due to his slipped disk in his bk it's been like 2 weeks since hugs&kisses i am almost to the point of giving up all together would it be better to take a blood test maybe does anyone know what they cost?

well not to long after i posted where are u at i got cramps on my right side and i got my period it's just spots it looks watered down what does that mean it weird for me

I'm in Ontario Canada. Not sure what that could be since it just started, maybe if you give it a day to see if it picks up or fades. I had too regualr periods while pregnant with my son so I learned not to trust any period you couls till always be pregnant. But thats just me cause of my experience. Not many people have that

it's a little heavier now and i have a pea size cloth sorry if i gettin into too many details well i gotta get ready for my nephews 5th bithday party we leaving early so i can go hold charity for a bit it's been 5 days since i seen and held her

ok i took a test wednesday i got a faint line well one faint and one dark well i was goin to wait a few days but i couldnt so i took one this morning and another dark line and a little bit darker than the light one tuesday the kids have learned a song they wanted to sing and i think he might get it if not well what a ding dong lol i will let everyone know how the news went to the daddy tellin the parents in a few weeks goin to clinic tomorrow and hope to soon get in the doctors so i can see how far i am and everything talk to u all soon
