ok so last night my husband and i did the fun dance and afterwards i had some pinkish colored bleeding...just a little, not a whole lot but it had me worried. Im 11 weeks prego and today we had our doctors appointment and i told her about it and she did the exam. she said she didnt see anymore bleeding but now that im home i had a little brownish discharge (i know this sounds gross, sorry!) on my underwear. should i worry or call the doctor? or should i just relax and if it happens gain, then call the doctor. this is my first and i dont know what to expect or do. i hope im not over reacting....oh and i have had a little bit (not bad) sharp pelvic pain...could this just be a nerve twinge or could this be more serious? HELP please! i need an answer to help calm my nerves!

you get crampy alot after sex.as long as the blood is light pink or brown then its normal and ok.if it starts to turn bright red then go to the emergency room...as long as its brown then that means its old blood and nothing new.

Mojo - from what my dr. said the cervix is extremely vascular at this point and activity can cause bleeding. I spotted after my u/s (transvaginal) and freaked out. The dr. said that this or intercourse can sometimes cause spotting and not to worry as long as it doesn't look like heavy menstrual bleeding accompained my cramping. Also, I know that orgasm can cause cramping becuase of the cervis contracting. You could always call your nurse/dr. office to calm your nerves - this way they can give you expert advice.

I agree with Bonnie I had the same thing with my son but so far none with this one. Though honestly we've only had sex in 4 weeks, since I found out lol I've been too sick lol I'd say worry if it persists and if it gets darker go to the ER you are close enough to 12 weeks they can stop it if something happens. But most likely it was just a case of too rough sex lol
