Packing for the Hospital
Since you won't recover in the same room you labor and deliver in, you should plan to bring two small bags to the hospital or birth center:
one containing your labor supplies, and one that someone can retrieve from your car after the delivery.
Make sure you pack the following items and ask your family, friends and doctor for other suggestions.
Make sure that any clothes you bring you won't be sad to see go. Labor is messy! And remember to leave all valuables at home.
