First Trimester
You - Month 2
Prenatal Care Appointment
At your second month prenatal care appointment, your health care provider will likely check your weight, your blood pressure, your urine for sugar and protein, and the size of your growing uterus. You will also discuss your pregnancy symptoms and any questions you have. Make sure you write down anything you want to discuss with your doctor prior to your appointment, so that you won't forget to ask about these things during your appointments.
Physical Symptoms
At the second month of pregnancy, it is common for you to "not feel pregnant yet". It is also normal to feel the following pregnancy symptoms:
- very tired
- frequent urination
- nausea and vomiting
- excess saliva
- constipation
- heartburn, indigestion, flatulence, or bloating
- food aversions or cravings
- breasts changes (fullness, heaviness, tenderness, tingling, darkening of the areola)
- occasional headaches
- ocasional faintness or dizziness
Its also normal to feel like your clothes are too tight around the waist or bust.
Emotional Symptoms
Your emotions are likely to be similar to those you were feeling last month: irritability, mood swings, irrationality, weepiness, misgivings, fear, and happiness.
